Hi we have two Cognos Servers.

I cannot create a new user in the New one...

What am doing is that I create the new user in the Old One then export the LAE file in the new one..so it will be updated.

Can anyone share me answer why?

Thank You

MFGF

What error do you get when you try to create a user in Access Manager Administration on the new server?

Cognos 7.3

Normally in Access Manager - Administration this should be showed:
When u expand the Test.LAE it will show the Root Class and Users available.

It looks like you are missing the connection to your directory server.

Right-click on the Directory Servers folder and use the "Add Connection" option

On the General tab, enter the hostname and Base Distinguished Name (DN) of your namespace in the directory server, then click Test to make sure it is valid.
On the Runtime Credentials tab, enter the Administrator DN after the 'cn=' (this is often "Directory Manager" then add the password and test.
On the Ticket Service tab, add your Ticket service hostname and port number, and test again.

Finally click OK, and your Directory Server should appear, and you can expand it and log on, then add users to your heart's content.

MF.
