Spam Spam Spammers

Hi all,

We are being targeted quite heavily by spammers just now - mostly from Russia and the Ukraine but in volumes roughly ten times the normal rate.  We are all working very hard to keep them off the site and to prevent them from posting their rubbish, but occasionally a few slip through the net and manage to add posts.  The Admins at BSP are looking at ways to detect and ban known accounts and IP addresses as they sign up, and this does seem to be working to reduce the numbers, but please do bear with us if you spot any inappropriate posts, and use the link to report them to a moderator.
