Error: 'sqlOpenResult' status '-28'

Hi,

I am attempting to run a Cognos 8 report and I am the getting the following error: 'sqlOpenResult' status '-28'

It suggests that there might have been changes to the SP, but there have not been. There have been no changes to the report or the query as well.

Where could the error lie? I tested the same report in Dev Region and there it runs fine but not in the QA Region.

Could someone help me out? If there are some details required, please let me know.

It's kind of a general error. Try testing the data source(s) to see if you can establish a connection to them at all. If not, it could be that the credentials you're using have expired or that your QA server is no longer allowed access to the data source(s).
