Override Crosstab Cell Calculation

I am attempting create a specific calculation in a cell in a crosstab that overrides the existing intersection calculation.  For example the current calcuation is a year to year percentage calculation ((2007-2006)/2006), and for one particular intersection, I want it to be only subtraction of 2007-2006.

I have tried defining the contents of the cell, unlocking the report, placing the new calculation in the cell, and making both the rows and columns aware of the new field.  This has not worked.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Todd Bailey

Attached is an example with a fairly straightforward approach using an extra column and setting the boxtype property.  This solution is applicable if you are using members in the edges... perhaps not appplicable if using sets/levels.

GO Sales package.  I have set the BoxType = None cells to have a Fuscia color, for visual reference... FYI.

You can also try a Singleton  ;)

I too am trying to do exactly the same thing (funnily enough with the same calculations).

rockytopmark: Sorry, just trying to understand your solution? If I add in another column, setting the calculation '2011-2010', then when I change the BoxType to None, the column nop longer appears in my report.  I'm clearly missing something.

I know this was awhile since you both brought this up but any help that can be offered would be much appreciated.
