Hi all,

I'm getting this Error: This URL is pointing to a domain that has not been approved by your administrator.

How do I fix this to view RSS Feeds?

Hi,  you could ask your Cognos 10 administrator to add the appropriate domain suffix to the Cognos Application Firewall property in Cognos Configuration.  This is just a guess, but worth a try...

I am the administrator and can't seem to get this working. I've tried numerous domains in the Application Firewall but no luck  :(

I'm running into the same issue. Did you have any luck figuring this out?

RL_Boston

Yes - Go to - In the Cognos Configuration \ IBM Cognos Applicaiton Firewall \ Valid domains or hosts

List the sites allowed, but instead of http://www.boston.com, I needed to enter *.boston.com

Then restart Cognos.

Hi RL_Boston,

I am trying the same and put my targeted host in to valid domain name. but when I add the xml feed it says bad URL now. I used *.abc.net.au as valid domain/host name and http://www.http://www.abc.net.au/bestof/bestofabc.xml/bestof/bestofabc.xml as RSS feed.

Thanks in advance.
