Cognos 8.4 and Cognos Express installed on Windows 2003 Server

Hi,

I have Cognos Express installed on Windows 2003 Server.
What problem could occur if I try to install Cognos 8 on the same Windows installation
and I will want to use both Cognos versions.

Hi there

You need to make sure you dont have a port conflict as they will both default to 9300 for the dispatchers etc.
Its easier to change the dispatcher port, shutdown port, and logging port in 8.4 than in Express.
