Issue with aggregation on calculated value

Hi,

I am using TM1 cube as data source for my Cognos reports. I have done some calculations in TM1 rule file for ex: C=A/B.

When I apply "Calculated" aggregation on item 'C' , I am not getting the result. But the same calculation if i do in the report level and apply the aggregation it works fine. Because of performance issues I wanted to do all those calculations in TM1 itself. Please suggest.
