can we assign caliculated column to value prompt?

HI all,

can we assign calculated column to value prompt?
what i mean is i created a calculated column 'RANK'
can i show the "RANK" values in the value prompt?
please tell me the way to show  calculated column values in value prompt?

Yes we can. Assign the calculated column to the Display Value property of the value prompt

Vamsi,

When you assign a calculated column to the Display value property of a value prompt, it will show the values of calculated column in value prompt.

i crated a value prompt.i assigned my calculated column to that prompt as display value.when  i run the report its showing only one value that is '1' but in that calculated column i have '100' values.its showing only one value.

Create a separate query and then create the calculated item in it.

Then assign the new query and calculated item to your value prompt.

check the Tabular data of your prompt query whether your calculated field display all 100 values
