Hi,

I defined one measures and three dimensions in my packages. From database view, this dimension only have relationship to A dimension  and B dimension. C dimension doesn't have relationship to measure. However, when I add this measure to Business View and check its scope in Dimension map, I see all three dimensions are in scope of this measure. And after that, when I use Analyst Studio to verify my package, data of this measure is changed when I use C dimension for Filter Text. I confused that why C dimension did affect to this dimension. Could you give me some advices ?

Thanks

If a measure dimension cannot be used with a specific regular dimension, then remove the scope in the model. If it can be used down to a certain level in the dimension then set the scope accordingly. This prevents the user from drilling down to a level where grain of the measure does not match the level.
