As an established software company and IBM Premier business partner, LRS is expanding, and we are seeking a Software Sales Specialist to sell leading-edge enterprise Business Analytics (BA) software. This full-time software sales position offers excellent working conditions within an agile small-company environment and focuses on well established IBM BI software including Cognos and Optim in addition to some traditional DB2 offerings and services.

We currently have positions available for the Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ regions. Compensation for this position is base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities include:

.Manage a defined territory of house accounts and prospects
.Develop and progress an opportunity pipeline derived from warm leads, cold calling, identifying and qualifying target prospects, preparing/presenting/proposing solutions, and closing sales
.Schedule regular customer interactions both on the phone and in-person
.Maintain current/pertinent software product knowledge and participate in quarterly education
.Maintain current and accurate records in our Siebel-based tracking system
.Actively participate on our team with other LRS and IBM Sales and Technical resources

Performance Objectives:
The attainment of your targets/quota will be the main criteria for success in this position.

.Obtain at least one IBM Cognos, Optim and/or DB2 Sales Certification within 3 months of start date
.During your first full year, achieve the revenue and lead cultivation objectives set forth in your sales plan
.Develop and implement an ongoing follow-up strategy for potential clients. The follow-up strategy must move the potential clients towards closing business with LRS.
.Understand and follow all IBM and LRS rules, regulations and requirements
.Understand IBM BA Software products, and the associated sales processes and challenges

Applicant Requirements:
Candidate Requirements:

.You must have at least 3 years of proven outside sales experience selling enterprise software related to Business Analytics (BA) and/or Business Intelligence (BI) Software.
.You must live in the Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ areas and be willing to travel frequently within your territory.
.You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer. No visa sponsorships are available.

Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. is a global IT company headquartered in Springfield, Il with offices throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Our IT Solutions group is an IBM Premier Business Partner, offering a complete line of IBM systems, software, and services to customers in the United States. A Director oversees this group, with three sales managers reporting to the Director. You will report directly to one of the sales managers. You will also interact with the sales team, technical consultants, customers, and LRS technology partners.
