Problem with former add-in after upgrading to PowerPlay/Transformer 7.3

We went to Excel, Tools, Add-Ins and deselected the name of the current (from PP version 7.1) PP add-in.   Clicked OK.  We then used browse to fin the .xla file in the cer4/bin folder.  We selected it, clicked OK and it was there in the Add-Ins list.  Fine.  Excel was closed and when it is reopened it now comes up with a message to say it can't find the .xla file in the cer3 folder.  Of course it can't but why is it still looking there?  The add-ins list has gone back to the former PP for Excel add-in file and lost the 'new' add-in parameter for the cer4 file.   The PC has only one cer folder (cer4) and only one .xla file but Excel seems to be holding the path and won't let us move on.

Anyone got any ideas?  Many thanks.

I had something like that a long, long time ago.  I think I went into the Registry for Excel and updated it there.  Hope that's not too vague!
