I changed the email address for my profile james899 from my sbcglobal.net to my citi.com email but I never received the confirmation email and I have requested it 3 times now. I have checked the spam folder too.  I am learning much from this forum so I would like to continue using on my original profile.

As I read down this forum toic I see several others with the same problem so it appears there is a recurring issue that needs a permanent solution.

I created a new profile just to post this request for help. I did not see a way to contact forum administration to get help without creating another profile which is not efficient for either of us. Please advise.

If you need to email me please send it to the citi.com one because I cannot access the sbcglobal.net one during work hours.

Hi,

Your account should now be deactivated. Send me a personal message from this account if you are still having problems.

Thanks for replying so soon especially since you are in England and it is a little later there. Please excuse my ignorance but I did not see that you had a mail icon next to your name in here. I assume you mean to reply to an email you sent to me.

However, I was not wanting to delete my original account. since that has my first 4 posts on Cognos issues. I wanted to keep that one and delete this one once I was back into that one. If I can get those 4 posts moved over to this profile that will work too. Thanks again.

Just curious, any ideas why the confirmation emails are not getting delivered and will someone be able to fix it? Did it get sent or can you even tell?

Hi James,

Sorry - my last post should say reactivated, not deactivated.  I blame it on my iPhone keying skills, the late hour, and the fact I was still laughing from reading a friend's funny email at the time! :)  You should be able to use it as normal.

Your James899 account has your citi email address registered against it - I just checked.  I can't see any obvious reason why you shouldn't be getting emails from the site.  Let me know if you're still having problems with that account.

Best regards,

MF.
