Basically a filter condition will be executed either in the query or on the server (summary filter). It is an action executed prior to generating the report. Actually I do not understand what your problem is.. Can you specify the problem?

i mean to say that we use filter to precise our report so first we use some sort of filter on the prompt page and when we give condition to filter the report will be generated on another page .. .
i am asking for that do we have such method that we  give filter and report will execute at there under the filter ?

Yes - you can add prompts directly onto your report page if you wish.  Doing this does introduce some issues though. If you have a list/crosstab/chart etc using a default filter with a parameter, it cannot be rendered until the parameter is resolved and the filter is applied.  This obviously creates a problem if the prompt for the parameter is on the same page, as the page with your prompt on it cannot be rendered until the prompt has already been satisfied.  The end result is that a default prompt page is generated at runtime to resolve the parameter initially, then the main page is rendered with your prompt and your list/crosstab/chart etc.

One way around this is to set your filter properties to 'optional'.  This will allow the main report page to render without resolving any of the parameters, and you will get an unfiltered report initially until you select values from your prompt.

The other issue you will have is in submitting the prompt on the report page.  When you use a prompt page, pressing the Finish button acts to submit the prompt.  When your prompt is on the main report page, you obviously lose this mechanism, so your choices are either
a) If you are using a Value Prompt, set Multi Select to 'No' and Auto Submit to 'Yes', or
b) Add a Prompt Button to the page, set it's Action to 'Reprompt', and relabel it using a text item.
