If you Cancel on the Cognos Common Login screen then the impromptu window should not appear . If u Logon to the common login screen then only the catalog login window should appear. You should review this, as users are gaining access without logging into the cognos common login screen with their id's and password.Is there any option that if we cancel the namespace then it should not ask for catalog username and password.it should exit the impromptu.If we click Logon in namespace then only catalog window should appear for user class and password.
