RCIException code errors

Has anyone ever experienced and RCIException code error?  They seem to happen when parameters get stuck in a report because more than one person is running the report.  Anyway, any help to avoid the error and to ensure that all parameters are cleared before the next user runs the report would be great.  thanks!

The exact wording of the error is:

cannot find deserializer from 'parametervalueitem' []:'http://developer.cognos.com/schemas/bibus/2/'to 'ParmValueItemArray'
