It would be great if someone explains to me what of control in terms of data control and display wise one has in report studio.Thanks

Hi,

Do you have a specific issue or is this a general info question? 

If its info, what have you looked at so far?  Have you looked at the Report Studio user guide, especially the section "Adding Prompts to Filter Data".  Then, with a set of test data go to Report Studio and try each of the prompts out for yourself as its the best way to understand how to use the tool.
