Would anyone know the difference between a dashboard and a scorecard. I googled and read a couple of articles, but, wasn't able to connect completely. Thanks!!

Hi,

There are many and varied ideas about what constitutes a scorecard vs what constitutes a dashboard.

In my humble opinion, a scorecard is a collection of metrics, presented with RAG (Red/Amber/Green) status indicators, trend (Up/Down/Unchanged) indicators, actual, target and variance values.  A dashboard is a collection of high-level summary report objects (charts, maps, alerts crosstabs etc) that provides a summary overview of the relevant business area.
