Can anyone help me on this issue..???

How are you trying to extract the tables? Are you using SQL Server? Oracle?

What stage do you get to when you see an error?

Hello MK,
I'm using oracle and after creating users in oracle, then i tried to extract these samples (.dmp.gz) files  from cognos and import it to oracle. Then, i got these errors.
i tried to install the cognos based on the steps of this link.
http://it.toolbox.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_install_and_configure_Cognos
im getting the errors at step 7.
Can you help me in this..??
Thanks,
Kiran.

Thanks for the info. and yeh i did the same steps for oracle .
My problem is i cant able to extract my samples from cognos samples directory and do you know where can i get the samples ??

Sounds like either a) you have corrupted or incomplete files, or b) you are using an unsupported version of Oracle.

You could try reinstalling the samples as a first step, and also check the 'Supported environments' page on the IBM support site to make sure you have a supported Oracle version.
