This worked on another installation:

I have my notification pointed to my exchange server on port 25. Tried both my (Domain Admin) credentials and the administrator credentials. Test always fails with "access to default session denied".

Seems to be a java thing?

Check on the Firewall
check with an another account, admin account for exemple

try telnetting to the the exchange server by IP address and port 25, then try by domain name.  If both work its not a firewall issue.  If both attempts are blocked you need port 25 opened.

If the 1st test by IP works but not by domain name you could have a dns issue.

Hi guys,

I am getting the same error

[ ERROR ] Access to default session denied

- I configured every field of Notification correctly.
- Left user id and password field blank, because our network doesnt require it.
- Ran telnet command from Command prompt and its working.
- Checked windows server firewall, and its OFF.

help please......:(

Thanks in advance

Check your antivirus sofware e.g. mcaffee needs some configuration to allow sending mails.
