Hi,

Few packages (.cpf) files  are lost in the framework manager. The problem is somebody created the package on their desktop machines and now they are not there. My question is , is there a way to get those cpf files back?  We have few reports that are migrated from dev environment and prod, but the prob is i m not able to find the package for that and it throws error. Please let me know if there is any possibility of getting it back.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

The problem with the cpf files this way only the layer which is published as package would be retrieved. If the model has been created in the layered approah like import layer,Model layer,Business layer  which is how all the models are created, this approach will require a lot of fine tuning to be done to the model retrieved.
The steps to retrieve the model thru the package are present in IBM website.
