Hi,

We imported a "test" application to our Live data container and now I would like to find out where I can change the name from "Name_TEST" to "Name".
It is only the name presented in the header of my Internet Explorer that is strange.
The name in Go To Production Options is OK  (Admin Console)
The package name is OK (Portal)

I assume that there is something stored in the database container for this application, Content store or in the Planning store that need to be changed.

We are using Planning 8.4 and SQL Server 2005 in a Windows environment

Hello MellBI,

You would need to use Translations in order to modify the header for the application.

In the CAC Select your application in question.
Expand Development > Translations.  Then Right click on Translations and create a new translation.
Once it has been created you will need to select the "Content Language" tab
Under the first section "Model" you can add your desired name under the "Translated String" section.

Save and GTP.

Warm Regards,

MellBI

Thank You for the response, It took a while before testing but it works fine with exactly the result i wanted

Hi,

I don't think you have to set up translations.
You can change the "Application Display Name" when you remove the application from the Administration Console and add it back in. Just double click on it.
