selecting all values in OPTIONAl Prompt

we have a value prompt with CUSTOMER_NAME (which is OPTIONAL prompt)
[customer_nm] in ? P_Customer ?, which gives all customer name.
NOW;

how to achieve, When optional and does not select any value, all values willbe selected for this prompt

I think by default, if you don't select anything all the values are displayed on the report....

Hi Pooja,

If you do not select any values in the optional prompt the report will return the results for all the values.

You just need to make the filter optional as well as the prompt.

Hi,

1) While creating prompt itself u can specify optional or required.
2) After checking optional in the prompt that means this prompt filter will act like if u slect any thing from optional prompt it will show that particular data in the report.
3) If u have not selected anything from the optional prompt then it will fetch all the data from the report.
4) Optional is like u can select particular item or it will show all data.
