Scheduler Reports Failing

Hi all,

I have 4 scheduled reports set to run once a day. They are currently failing with the error code

CNC-SEC-3403 The user account information is invalid, or it is missing in Content Manager. CAM-AAA-0194 Authentication to the namespace 'MANU_CSM' failed. CAM-AAA-0180 The 3rd party provider returned a user recoverable exception. The provided credentials are invalid.

The strange thing is that when I run these reports manually there is no problem and reports are attached to an email and forwarded.

Any ideas?

Have you changed your password recently? If so, refresh the password in Cognos settings (In all probability the scheduled reports are using your old password to run the scheduled reports).

Make sure you renew your credentials.

Below process is for Cognos BI 8.3

1. Login into Cognos.
2. Click on the tiny man icon on the top right corner and select preferences.
3. Click on the personal tab.
4. Scroll down the page and click on 'Renew the credentials' link.
5. Type in your username / password if it prompts you again.
6. Click on OK.
